Usage and Application
Raymond mill is a classical mill and gains popularity for its practicability which is used to grind materials in the fields of building materials, mining, metallurgy and chemical industry. The materials must be non-flammable and non-explosive materials and have the hardness less than 7 in Moh’s scale and humidity less than 6 percent, such as: limestone, calcite, barite, dolomite, potassium feldspar, marble, talcum, gypsum, kaolin, medical stone, rock phosphate, manganese ore, iron ore, glass, ceram, active carbon, carbon black, fireproof materials, heat preservation materials, chemical materials and so on (300 kinds of materials). The granularity of end product can be changed from 30 to 325 meshes.
The High-pressure Suspension Mill is an updated of Raymond mill of Great Wall Heavy Industry Company, which used to grind materials which should be non-flammable and non-explosive and have the hardness less than 9.3 in Moh’s scale and humidity less than 6 percent. Compared with Raymond mill, the material can be harder, and the granularity of the end products can be changed from 30 to 425 meshes.
Working principle
Firstly, raw material should be crushed by the jaw crusher to the size specified, then the crushed stuff is elevated into the hopper by the bucket-elevator, through vibrating feeder, evenly and continuously into the grinding chamber for powder-processing. After this, the ground stuff is carried by the air flow from the blower into the separator for screening. The fine powder is blown into the cyclone collector and is poured out through the output-powder valves as the final product and the rough stuff after the screening will be recycled back into the grinding chamber for regrinding. The airflow system is closely sealed up and circulated under condition of negative and positive pressure.
